G'day!Since last I wrote, I've been to the Emerald City Writer's Conference in early October. Had a fantastic time, sold a lot of books at the booksigning and then sang my heart out later with "Romance Karaoke"! OK, so I didn't get up all by myself and it was just one song, but it was such fun! My editor was there too, so it was good to have a little chat with her. Have you been to see the new Pride and Prejudice yet? As always, there are historical quibbles (especially the fashion), but I actually managed to push those aside and just enjoy it. It is such a lovely, lovely film. Was astonished that the U.S. version has a different ending from the Brit version, but that just gives something extra to look forward to on the eventual DVD release! It's so sad to think we have this gorgeous Regency film out, and no Regency line of books from Kensington. But have you heard about their new erotic line? It's called Aphrodisia and I got a sneak peek at some of their stuff. If you like it super-hot, look out for Noelle Mack's "Three" in January and Celia May Hart's "Show Me" in June. I know there is at least one other author doing Regency-set erotica for the line, but wouldn't you know it? I just can't find that info. Stay tuned. Aphrodisia features all the other subgenres (contemporary, paranormal, etc). Well, I guess that's about all from me for this month. NaNo is calling me and I'm 500 words behind the goal for today. I wonder where they are going to come from?
Stay safe, everyone!
